Hello Forum Experts, I have a 2013 Honda Pilot. As I was driving home in the rain yesterday my check engine light came on and the "D" on the shift column started to flash instead of glowing solid green. I read through some other threads and I know I have to get an engine/transmission diagnostic to read the code and determine next steps.

Since then, they come on and go off while driving randomly. The battery is less than 2 months old. Battery and alternator were tested and are giving read outs as expected (in good shape).74,500 miles. It seems that an enormous amount of Honda Pilot owners have experienced problems with the flashing "D" light. It is irresponsible of Honda not to have a recall regarding this matter, especially in these harsh econimical times. On this model when the drive light blinks it means that there is a failure code in the transmission computer. If the car drives and shifts normally then this is most likely a pressure switch.
